Faith Communities to End Homelessness
Let’s put an end to homelessness in Collier County by 2020!
Recently, in 2013, Faith Communities to End Homelessness was established to passionately advocate for the homeless in Collier County, Florida. Find out how you can contribute to the future of someone in need through donations of time and money.
Work with members of the faith community and make a difference
Our first advocacy is to improve the process for funds disbursement to agencies providing shelter and protection. We need a process with local government that handles federal funds to be easier and more transparent.
Locally, Faith Communities to End Homelessness is an advocate for the homeless in Collier County. We are focused on a plan to end homelessness in our community by 2020.
Homelessness isn't supposed to be a hidden condition and it is not seasonal, which is why our efforts involve activities year-round. See what individual faith communities are doing and see what we are doing as a larger group and then get engaged.
EVERY SCHOOL IN COLLIER COUNTY HAS AT LEAST ONE HOMELESS CHILD WHO IS ATTENDING
